ABOUT THIS PROJECT

This interior design project focused on maximizing storage and functionality in a small kitchen space. The clients, who had purchased a flipped home, sought to add cabinet space and achieve a timeless design. Challenges included a restrictive doorway and limited counter space. The design solutions included removing a kitchen wall to create extra space, incorporating pull-out trash and Lazy Susan units, optimizing upper cabinetry with increased heights and wider cabinets, adding a peninsula with drawers for storage, and installing narrow drawers and a pull-out pantry. Special features included a white panel near the range, consistent finishes for visual expansion, and medium gray accents for contrast. Overall, the project successfully transformed the kitchen into a practical and visually appealing space with increased storage capacity.
